Like you, I recognize that as our population has grown, so have our needs. Commuting and traffic, recreational facilities, urban expansion, infrastructure, litter, illegal dumping, connectivity, area rating, taxes, and transit are all concerns that resonate within and beyond our community.
As your Councillor, I am responsive to your concerns, address issues in person, and work with City staff to inform, resolve, and meet the needs of our community. I am committed to ensuring our City fulfils its obligations to you.

I have lived in Glanbrook most of my life. The success of this community is my priority.
My story is rooted in this community. Rural, town, and suburban living all present different lifestyles, advantages, and challenges.
I have first-hand knowledge, lived experience, and a historical perspective on the significant growth of our community, the successes we have achieved, and the priorities and pressures that we still face.
I have worked hard throughout my career, dealing with issues and finding solutions as an educator and principal across many communities in Hamilton.
I have the personal relationships, ideas, plans and team ready to continue to help all neighbourhood in Ward 11 thrive.
From local Educator to Public Servant
From coaching and volunteering to working as an educator and elementary school principal, Mark Tadeson has spent his life contributing to the community he calls home. As a lifelong Ward 11 resident and public servant, he brings practical experience, local knowledge, and a grounded understanding of the people and priorities that shape our community.
My name is Mark Tadeson and I am your current City Councillor. I am running again to represent Ward 11.
I know Glanbrook! I grew up here, I raised my family here and I continue to live here with my wife Heidi.
As a former teacher and Principal for 30 years, along with 4 more years serving as your City Councillor, I bring a lifetime of work experience and acquired municipal government expertise to this role. I am fiscally responsible, creative, friendly, fair and helpful.
I bring a dedicated work-ethic and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to supporting the residents, institutions, businesses and organizations of our community at City Hall.
